    Celebrating Diversity, Sharing Traditions

    Intercultural Week

At St. Mark’s Junior School, we celebrate Intercultural Week each year as a way of recognising and valuing the many different cultures that make up our school community. Throughout the week, children take part in a variety of activities such as music, dance, art, storytelling, and project work that highlight traditions from Ireland and around the world.

Pupils and families are encouraged to share their own cultural heritage through food, clothing, language, and customs, helping us all to learn from one another. Intercultural Week is always a vibrant and enjoyable event, promoting respect, inclusion, and a deeper understanding of the diverse world we live in.
