Huge welcome to all of our incoming Junior Infants for September 2020. The staff of St Mark's JNS is looking forward to meeting you all in the school in September. Preparations are well under way!
Here is a short video for you to enjoy all about our school. You should get a text message from the school in the next few days with the name of your class teacher and your room number.You will then be able to connect to see a short video from your class teacher.
Starting 'big school' is a huge event in your child's life. It is looked forward to with great anticipation and is an event to celebrate together as a family. I have met some of you and your children individually to welcome you in person and share with you what we do in our school and the values that we espouse. I hope to meet the rest of you as soon as possible!
For now, I hope to reassure you that we treat the education and development of each child in St Mark's JNS as a journey. Our approach is a child-centered one. This belief influences all that we do in school. St Mark's JNS is a safe, happy place where Love, Laughter and Learning underpins everything we do.
Please ensure you connect to our school app as this will be the easiest way for us to communicate with you over the summer and going forward. You can find details on how to do that at the bottom of this page.
You should have all been sent a text with a link to pay the school books. Payment can be made online through the link in the text message or on way2pay using your phone number as a username and the last 4 digits of your number as a password. This password can be changed as soon as you log in. We would be grateful if the total amount could be paid before the children start school. However, in the current economic climate we understand that you may wish to pay by instalments.
